About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ODM Developer (Java Developer) to join a high‑profile government program based in Canberra. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking environment, contributing to innovative solutions while supporting critical departmental outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship
* Active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
* Write and maintain high‑quality program code in line with system requirements, designs, and technical specifications
* Test, debug, diagnose, and resolve application errors in accordance with established quality and testing standards
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, end‑user guides, and operational procedures
* Research, analyse, and evaluate system and program requirements
* Provide technical advice and guidance on software design, development strategies, upgrades, and enhancements
* Support proposal development, including technical recommendations, costing, and evaluation of software options
Skills & Experience:
* 5–7+ years’ experience in Java/ODM development
* Strong experience in application development, maintenance, and support within complex environments
* Proven ability to work effectively in agile team environments
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
