About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to join our Defence Delivery team as a Technical Support Specialist, working on the Nulka Program full-time onsite at Orchard Hills, NSW.
You will be reporting directly to the Site Lead and will play a key role in supporting our Department of Defence customer.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Conduct or coordinate inspections and testing of Nulka Electronic Decoy Cartridge (EDC) components.
* Maintain facility calibration records and initiate calibration activities using Maximo.
* Perform tasks related to Work Order process within Maximo.
* Maintain the facility's technical integrity by ensuring control and serviceability of STTE, equipment, test equipment and tooling.
* Provide technical assistance and support to engineering investigations.
* Perform production or maintenance activities for Nulka EDC as required to ensure capability.
* Become familiar with BAE Systems' facility information systems and infrastructure to provide technical assistance.
About You
* Relevant experience in Defence or Defence Industry is highly regarded, particularly in testing, calibration and planned maintenance activities.
* Competency in use of Advanced Test Equipment (ATE) and/or sophisticated electronic testing equipment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general IT systems.
* A strong commitment to safety, security and quality.
* At minimum, a current NV1 Clearance with ability to attain NV2 Clearance.
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations.
* Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
* Experience in Explosive Ordnance (EO) is desirable but not mandatory.
