Job Description:
This exciting opportunity involves supporting our finance team across Australia, North America, Europe, and the UK. You will be responsible for accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance requirements for our organization and its subsidiaries, including multi-entity reporting, project-level analysis, and statutory compliance in an ASX-listed environment.
Your duties will include full-function accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including multi-entity invoice processing, vendor onboarding and engagement, reconciliations, and reporting across international jurisdictions and time zones.
* Group-wide timesheet management, including compliance monitoring and engagement with consultants and internal stakeholders
* Bank and credit card reconciliations, accounting and reporting across multiple currencies and international accounts
* Month-end close support: preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, payroll validations, financial reporting, cost analysis, and cash flow forecasting
* Support the business with accurate and timely project-level financial control, analysis, and reporting
* Assist with half-year and full-year external audits, and the preparation of statutory and ASX reporting deliverables, including compliance with international audit and financial reporting requirements
* Contribute to internal control improvements, finance system enhancements, and group-wide process documentation and compliance
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis and coverage across the broader finance team as required — including payroll, tax compliance and reporting, and systems accounting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in public practice and/or industry, with exposure to financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance
* Experience in an ASX-listed company or group with cross-border operations, international audits and compliance, and consolidation requirements
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365, with experience across core systems including Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Sourcing/AR platforms such as SAP, Coupa, Ariba, and Beeline considered essential
* Background in technology consulting, professional services, or time-based billing models highly desirable
* Hands-on expertise in financial control, end-to-end AP/AR, timesheet governance, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, internal / external reporting, and project reporting
* Experience engaging directly with auditors, banks, vendors, and international advisors
* Solid understanding of foreign currency transactions, international banking platforms, and payroll processes
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting; CA/CPA qualification (or progress toward) strongly preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across all organisational levels and jurisdictions
* High attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
