Description
Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Perform detailed surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings.
- Coating Application: Apply a variety of protective coatings such as epoxies and urethanes, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
- Abrasive Blasting: Operate and maintain abrasive blasting equipment, ensuring equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
- Independent Work: Work autonomously, managing tasks effectively while maintaining high attention to detail and quality.
Your Profile
Your Profile:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Blaster/Painter in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Knowledge of different surface preparation and coating techniques, ability to read technical drawings.
- Certifications: Relevant high-risk tickets and certifications are a plus.
- Physical Demands: Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and safety.

- Hourly Rate: AU$35 - AU$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
