Your new role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering and translating requirements for complex data and analytics initiatives. Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, you'll ensure successful delivery of project milestones and support the transition to BAU. Key responsibilities include:
Eliciting and documenting data requirements from diverse stakeholders
Translating business needs into actionable technical specifications and user stories
Coordinating with internal DevOps teams and external vendors
Managing Jira stories and supporting risk and issue resolution
Assisting with change management and stakeholder communications
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in Business Analysis within data, BI, or analytics projectsAbility to act as Product Owner and manage backlog in JiraStrong understanding of data concepts: ingestion, modelling, quality, and pipelinesExcellent stakeholder engagement and vendor coordination skillsFamiliarity with Jira and Confluence (essential); SAS and Microsoft Fabric (advantageous)What you'll get in return
This is an initial 9-month contract with an immediate start for the right candidate. You will work as part of a dedicated and collaborative team and work on a high-impact project. This role will require you to work in the office in Newcastle 3 days per week.
