About the Role
As Salesforce Software Engineering Lead, you will shape how we design and deliver solutions across our Salesforce platform, leading a talented team of engineers and QA specialists to build high‐quality technology for our member and employer service channels. This hands‐on role blends architecture, coding and mentoring, setting technical direction, lifting engineering standards and growing a skilled team while making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 engineers and QA professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‐performing culture.
* Design and deliver robust technical solutions across Salesforce, MuleSoft, Azure and AWS environments.
* Guide the development of integration workloads and architectural patterns beyond the Salesforce ecosystem.
* Drive CI/CD best practices, security scanning and high‐quality engineering standards.
* Collaborate with architecture, security, and business partners to build scalable, secure, cost‐effective solutions.
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies to keep our platforms modern and efficient.
About You
You are a strong Salesforce software engineer with a broad technical background and a knack for challenging the status quo.
* Deep experience in traditional software engineering with Salesforce (e.g. Java, .NET or similar).
* Proven technical design and integration experience with large‐scale platforms.
* Strong grasp of engineering patterns, CI/CD practices, and secure coding principles.
* Comfortable mentoring, coaching and collaborating across disciplines.
* Agile mindset, with experience in Scrum or Kanban delivery.
* Curious, pragmatic, and confident in questioning existing approaches to find better solutions.
