**Trading Terms & Rebates Specialist Role**: Reporting to the Financial Reporting & Governance team, this role plays a crucial part in supporting key financial accounting activities for rebates, trading terms, and monthly reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring timely completion of financial accounting tasks (including month end close) related to Rebates as required
- Verifying procedures and systems accurately record rebates received from suppliers, ensuring correct recognition, collection, and reporting
- Maintaining up-to-date document repositories of vendor information and trading terms, including Supplier Master File
- Providing regular reports to Merchandise, Treasury, Compliance, and Government bodies to meet their requirements
- Delivering balance sheet reconciliation processes for Rebates in line with Coles Finance policies
**Required Skills and Experience**: A tertiary accounting qualification or similar, preferably CA/CPA certified, is essential. Trading terms and rebates experience is highly desirable.
