Job Description
The role is offered as a 6 month fixed term to help during a busy period. As an accountant, you will work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounting Activities: Process journals, perform month-end reconciliations, and generate reports.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support these functions when required.
* Payroll Function: Assist with payroll processing when needed.
* Annual Audits: Participate in annual external audits and provide ongoing finance support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualification in Accounting: Possess a qualification in accounting or be nearing completion.
* Strong Understanding: Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
* Experience: Showcase experience in month-end accounting, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
* Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Microsoft Excel: Demonstrate intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
