IT Officer – Entry Level
A permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position exists for an entry-level IT Officer to commence as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, documenting and prioritizing issues based on severity and impact
* Provide initial troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues for staff and students, including software, hardware, and network problems
* Perform basic data entry and updates in our various systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school policies
* Maintain clear and effective communication with end-users, providing status updates and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
* Create and maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and processes for future reference and analysis
* Work closely with other IT staff to escalate more complex issues and ensure timely resolutions
Key Requirements:
* Committed Christian, active in their own church
* Preferably studying IT or a related field (TAFE, university, or online certification)
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions
* Reliable and able to work independently once trained
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our IT department. This entry-level role is ideal for someone currently studying towards a qualification in Information Technology or a related field. No formal IT qualifications are required—just a willingness to learn, follow instructions, and support the IT team in day-to-day operations.
