We are looking for a passionate Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in an ongoing part-time role at St Mel's Kindergarten.

About us

Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care is an established EYM providing high quality early childhood education and care across the Sandhurst Diocese. Established in 2021, our mission is to provide excellence in learning and teaching, where each child and family is respected and welcomed as part of God's family, and accompanied and supported on their journey of holistic development.

We are committed to supporting the professional growth of all our educators to embed best teaching practice in a people focused community where we recognise that our people are our greatest gift.

Snapshot of what you will do:

* Assist in planning and implementation of culturally rich and welcoming learning environments and activities which are appropriate to the developmental needs and interests of all children.
* Guiding and nurturing the wellbeing, learning, and development of children in their care.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with early learners and their families.
* Adhering to service policies and legislation, while assisting other educators to do the same.

About You:

* Have a sound understanding and knowledge of contemporary early childhood development and education.
* Can develop, document and implement high quality appropriate education programs.
* Successful applicant/s will need to demonstrate a commitment to child safety and the vision and philosophy of Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care ltd.
* All successful applicants will be required to have satisfactory probity checks which includes a Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), first aid and CPR certificate and willingness to complete a Police check.

The successful applicant will be engaged for a total of 26.25 hours per week, worked in line with the fixed roster set out below.

Monday 12:00pm - 1:30pm, Tuesday 8:15am - 4:15pm, Wednesday 10:30am - 3:45pm, Thursday 8:45am - 3:15pm, Friday 8:45am - 3:15pm.
