Credit Analyst/Manager (with Ops or Broker Growth Path)

What you’ll be doing
You’ll become the founder’s right hand, taking ownership of credit responsibilities so he can focus on high-impact growth activities. You’ll also work closely with existing team members to improve delivery, speed, and structure.
* Review, reconcile, and interpret client documents, especially for self-employed borrowers
* Build cashflows and group structures from financials, trust deeds, and company searches
* Liaise with lenders, prepare discussion papers, and summarise policy-driven recommendations
* Write clear, compliant client documents and supporting application forms
* Manage lender submissions from pre-approval through to settlement
* Communicate with clients throughout the loan process
* Take ownership of the inbox and operational workflows within your first month
* Contribute to refining end-to-end processes for both complex and PAYG clients
About you

Must-haves:
* Proven experience in credit analysis within a mortgage or finance broking environment
* Strong grasp of lending calculations, policy interpretation, and compliance
* Experience using mortgage CRMs and aggregator platforms
* High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication
* Motivation to step into a genuine growth journey, not just fill a seat
Nice-to-haves:
* Exposure to multi-lender strategies or commercial and self-employed lending
* Understanding of group structures and entity roles
* Availability during end-of-year trading periods, or flexibility around extended leave
