About the Opportunity
Nextt is currently seeking dedicated and professional FEMALE Disability Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service in Richmond. In this rewarding role, you will support up to six independent female clients in a shared living workplace, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide tailored, person-centred support, including:
- Manual handling and mobility assistance
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Medication administration and behavioural support
- Domestic assistance (cleaning, household tasks)
- Supporting social participation, daily routines, and overall wellbeing
About You
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and capable support workers with:
- Previous experience in disability support, community care, or mental health
- Skills in supporting clients with spinal injuries, acquired brain injuries (ABI), asthma, and mobility-related challenges
- A strong understanding of complex care and behaviour support
- A professional, respectful, and client-focused approach
Shifts:
We offer a variety of flexible shift options, including:
- Mornings, afternoons, active night shifts, and sleepovers
- Weekday and weekend availability
Pay Rates
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
- Base hourly rate: $35.15
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37
- Saturday: $49.21
- Sunday: $63.27
- Public holiday: $77.33
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Employee Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Australian Driver Licence
- Access to a registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
