Operations Manager Position
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
* Direct the preparation of weekly rosters, allocate staff duties, and adjust shifts according to business demand.
* Train new staff members on handling complex customer transactions, store procedures, and maintaining food safety practices.
* Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, product quality, and pricing discussions.
* Manage POS operations, daily cash handling, EFTPOS balancing, and end-of-day reports.
* Maintain stock levels, arrange orders for food ingredients and packaging, and complete stocktakes when required.
* Ensure products are correctly priced, labelled, and presented in compliance with standards.
* Monitor staff work performance, address workplace concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the team during busy periods and ensure daily operations follow expectations.
2. Review sales results and assist with basic store planning or promotional strategies.
3. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to WHS rules and regulations.
