The Role
* Actively oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
* Ensure service is compliant with all service, state and NQS policies and legislations
* Create a fun, collaborative and stimulating environment for team members
* Creating and maintaining effective communication and partnerships with the families
* Mentoring team members to meet the standards and quality practices
* Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all children, team and community
Role Requirements
* Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved qualification)
* Minimum 2 years' experience within a Centre Director position
* Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS frameworks
* Effective communication skills in order to collaborate with the team, families and community
* Thorough knowledge of early childhood policies and practices
The Company
This is a 40-place service looking for their next Centre Director for a community-based service based in Townsville, Queensland. Opening its doors from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. This service strongly prioritises building and maintaining strong relationships with the parents and families of the children in the centre.
