The Opportunity
We're looking for an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant (AHA) with a background in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Therapy, or Fitness to bring energy, compassion and expertise to our friendly Maroubra team. You will be working Part Time Monday & Tuesday between 8:30am to 4:30pm.

In this dynamic role, you'll support older adults to stay strong, independent and engaged with life. Working alongside Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals, you'll deliver fun, safe and meaningful exercise programs that help residents move with confidence.
From running functional fitness groups and leading re-enablement activities, to providing personalised 1:1 support, your work will be central to promoting wellbeing. You'll also take the lead in coordinating our wellness gyms, ensuring equipment is used safely, programs are engaging, and residents feel supported and motivated.

* Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy) or equivalent such as Certificate III or IV in Fitness
* Experience in physiotherapy assistance
* Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe and effective exercise within the aging population
* A warm, friendly and empathic approach with a passion for Aged Care
* Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills are essential
* Computer literacy skills such as using mobile devices and web applications a must
* Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including the ability to work within the scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Physiotherapist/Allied Health Professional
* NDIS Check
