The Team

We're continuing to expand our Restructuring presence across Australia and are looking for a couple of Graduates to join our Brisbane team full time in early 2027!

Our team focuses on larger-scale, formal and informal restructuring work with major clients across a range of industries. You'll gain exposure to trading engagements, voluntary administrations, receiverships and restructuring advisory, contributing to impactful mandates that shape outcomes for businesses in transition.

We're a close-knit team in Brisbane, offering fantastic leadership, mentorship, and collaboration. You'll be part of a team that's not only scaling but also actively building and extending our local presence, with the backing of A&M's global reach and financial strength.

How You Will Contribute

As a Graduate Associate, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to support client engagements, designing and implementing restructuring strategies in both formal and informal settings within high‐profile situations.

You'll develop practical, hands‐on skills and help shape desired outcomes for businesses in financial distress, providing stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and real solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Performing detailed financial and operational analysis to assess business viability, liquidity, and restructuring options
* Supporting the development of turnaround strategies, cash flow forecasting, and implementation plans
* Assisting with accelerated M&A processes, contingency planning, stakeholder negotiations and trade‐on strategies
* Preparing detailed reports for a variety of stakeholders including lenders, boards, and regulators

Qualifications

We're looking for people who have a genuine interest in insolvency, turnaround and restructuring and also ideally bring the following –

* A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Law) that will be completed in 2026.
* Demonstrated professional experience, alongside the maturity gained through diverse life experiences.
* A high level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to work successfully in teams and add to our positive culture.
* Confidence in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, as well as financial modelling skills.
* Excellence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to present clearly and persuasively when required.
* The ability to thrive in time‐critical environments, with the initiative to work around incomplete information.
