The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to support and drive the overall Patties Quality strategy at our Bairnsdale Operations during the day shift. The role hours are Monday to Friday, 7am – 3:03pm, with no rotation required.
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor and working closely with the site operations team, the primary purpose of this role is to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of our quality assurance and food safety programs onsite, ensuring processes meet and exceed customer expectations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Educating and engaging production staff regarding GMP requirements and quality standards.
2. Conducting daily checks and line-walks on production lines to verify CCPs, QCPs, and X-Ray checks are met.
3. Performing GMP audits and internal audits to verify quality and production processes.
4. Assisting the quality manager with internal and external audits.
5. Maintaining site document control and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
6. Providing food safety and quality training to production staff.
7. Verifying staff training levels and ensuring personnel responsible for food safety possess the necessary skills and knowledge.
8. Investigating non-conformances and conducting root-cause analyses.
9. Advising production and management on quality performance and systems.
