About The Role
Due to continued growth, LaserBond is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in the Laser Cladding division. This is a full‐time position based at our Smeaton Grange facility, offering a rare opportunity to receive one‐on‐one training in a highly specialised and growing industry.
As part of our expert team, you'll gain hands‐on experience while completing structured internal training that covers all aspects of the laser cladding process. No prior experience is necessary – just a strong interest in engineering, a solid work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Learn
* How industrial components are restored and reclaimed through laser cladding
* Different types of metal powders and their application techniques
* Programming of robotic systems and lasers using computer control panels
* Workplace safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment
