We’re seeking an exceptional Engineering General Manager - QLD to lead and grow an established office within a high-performing engineering and infrastructure consulting environment. The Opportunity
As State General Manager, you will take responsibility for the performance, growth and culture of the office. You’ll lead a capable team, strengthen client relationships, and execute a clear strategic vision for sustainable expansion.
This role blends commercial leadership, people development and operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Leading and developing a high-performing team
* Driving revenue growth, profitability and utilisation targets
* Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Identifying and executing strategic growth opportunities
* Embedding a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance
* Working closely with senior leadership on broader business strategy

Within your first 6–12 months, you will have:
* Built strong engagement and alignment within the team
* Strengthened key client partnerships
* Delivered measurable commercial performance improvements
* Established a clear growth plan for the state

You are:
* Based in Brisbane and are currently working in a similar role for an Engineering Consulting firm.
* Ideally a Civil or Structural Engineer or have Design or Project Management qualifications.
* Commercially astute and performance-driven
* A natural people leader who builds trust and accountability
* Strategic in thinking, but hands-on when needed
* Motivated by growth, influence and long-term impact
