Civmec is NOW HIRING Advanced Scaffolders to join our Civmec team working on the FMG-Solomon project, tank installation.
The Role
Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
1. 2. Erect, install and position various sections of scaffolding
3. Erect guard rails, ropes and laying planks to form various sections of scaffolding
4. Fit bolting tubes, support braces and various components to form bases and build up scaffolding
5. Erect and attach tackles and pulleys to overhead structures
6. Install cables and counterweights to overhead structures
7. Update scaffolding register
8. Assist with attaching slings and hoist equipment to objects to be moved
9. Assist with setting up and operating rigging equipment
10. Housekeeping
11. Perform other general duties as required
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
12. Current High High Risk Work Licence - Scaffold Advanced & EWP
13. Current High Risk elevating work platform license and VOC
14. Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate within 2 years
15. Current Confined Space Certificate within 2 years (desirable but not essential)
16. Current Drivers Licence (desirable but not essential)
17. Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
18. Previous construction experience
19. Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
