Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality midwifery care to women and newborns in remote communities.
* Perform prenatal check-ups, monitor pregnancies, and assist with labor and delivery.
* Offer postpartum care and support for breastfeeding, recovery, and newborn health.
* Educate and support families on various aspects of pregnancy and infant care.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and local organizations.
* Document and maintain patient records accurately.
About you:
* 2 + years working in a rural and remote setting
* Must be competent and willing to travel to remote communities
* Working With Children Care (NT specific “Ochre Card”) or be willing to gain this
* Have current, recognised Immunisation provider certificate (AGV); (Every 3 years)
* Have current Maternity emergency management (MEC) or midwifery upskill or a commitment to completion within 6 months of first placement with CAHS PHC (remote) (Every 3 years)
* BLS (Annually)
* Must be ISTAT competent, certified and have access number
