Overview
Solicitor, Commercial Litigation role at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer based in Sydney, focusing on general commercial litigation with an emphasis on regulatory and tax disputes and other complex disputes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to an excellent client service, handle files, identify issues and proactively provide solutions.
- Play an significant role in projects to develop business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Be a key member of a highly motivated and innovative team and collaborate with colleagues in interstate and international offices.
- Maintain extensive client exposure and develop a network of relationships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience delivering technical advice on a range of commercial litigation matters from a leading top-tier, national or international private practice, or in-house.
- Ideally 2-4 years of legal experience, but we are open to considering candidates.
- Excellent academic record with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
- Proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of a leading and supportive team.
- Ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team.
- Desire to learn and develop and contribute to maintaining a market-leading practice.
