Geographe Liquid Waste is a family owned and operated business based in Dunsborough WA, specialising in the pump and removal of liquid waste. We are offering immediate start for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Truck Driver to join our growing business.
What we require from you:
* MUST ALREADY RESIDE IN DUNSBOROUGH / BUSSELTON AREA, Bunbury applicants will not be considered
* HR Truck License (MUST HAVE HELD LICENCE FOR 5+ YEARS - for insurance purposes)
* Good communications skills and work ethic
* Some knowledge of the South West region from Bunbury to Augusta
* A reasonable level of fitness and no previous injuries preventing the use of shovels, hand tools and heavy hoses
* Available to start immediately on a casual basis (full time hours) for a probation period of 3 months
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative to manage problem solving and scheduling of daily tasks
* Highest regard for safety and the environment
Job Role:
* Driving Heavy Rigid Truck
* Operating a vacuum truck
* Interacting with customers on job sites
* Locating and exposing septic tanks
* Some jobs will require digging, lifting lids and handling heavy hoses full of liquid
* Early morning starts (6am)
* Pre-start, wash down and maintenance of truck and workshop
* Pump and Disposal of Liquid Waste with Transport from Job sites to Waste Facilities
* Start times will vary from time to time, some weekend work and overtime available, especially in summer months.
