About the role
Join a state government decision‐making body supporting housing and accommodation‐related matters within the Community stream. You will prepare case documentation and support parties involved in hearings relating to tenancy, accommodation, guardianship and mental health matters. The role focuses on explaining process and supporting applicants through complex systems (without providing legal advice).
Key responsibilities
* Prepare accurate, timely case submissions and housing‐related documentation
* Coordinate tenants, families, advocates, housing providers and services for hearings
* Manage high‐volume case communications via phone and email
* Maintain records across digital telephony and case management systems
* Engage respectfully with vulnerable individuals in sensitive housing circumstances
About you
* Strong administration background in housing, community or government services
* Confident managing competing priorities in a fast‐paced caseload environment
* Resilient, composed and professional when handling challenging conversations
* High attention to detail, strong typing skills and digital literacy
Pre‐employment requirements
* Current National Police Check (NPC) must be sighted prior to commencement.
