We're looking for an experienced User Acceptance Testing professional who wants to make a genuine impact on how digital services are delivered to Queenslanders. As a Senior Advisor (User Acceptance Testing), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and uplifting UAT capability across a complex, customer‐facing service environment.
Working closely with business, project and technical teams, you'll help ensure new and enhanced digital products are fit for purpose, reliable and ready for real‐world use. This role offers the opportunity to influence testing practices, support innovative delivery, and contribute to services used daily by frontline staff and the community.
At the intersection of technology, people and process, your expertise directly improves service outcomes. If you thrive in this environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
The Business Systems team supports the digital platforms and services used by frontline staff across Service Centre Operations. These systems enable high‐volume, customer‐facing services and are central to delivering reliable, accessible, and customer‐focused government services to Queenslanders.
You will work closely with business teams, project delivery partners and technical stakeholders to ensure system changes, ranging from enhancements and upgrades to major delivery initiatives, are thoroughly tested, business‐ready and fit for purpose. The role emphasizes governance, quality and consistency while remaining flexible and responsive to competing priorities and time‐critical releases.
Who we are looking for
An experienced and proactive UAT professional who enjoys working across multiple initiatives and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
Comfortable in ambiguity, able to translate business needs into effective testing strategies, and confident providing clear, evidence‐based advice to senior stakeholders.
With a strong understanding of UAT within service delivery or digital environments, and experience developing or reviewing test strategies, coordinating testing activities, and supporting teams through change. You can work effectively with technical teams and vendors, understanding how system changes impact frontline operations. You value collaboration, quality outcomes, and coaching others to build sustainable capability rather than delivering one‐off testing activities.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
* Influence how UAT is planned, governed and delivered across Service Centre Operations
* Work on meaningful systems that support everyday interactions with Queenslanders
* Contribute to improved digital outcomes through stronger testing practices and assurance
* Be part of a supportive team that values professionalism, flexibility and continuous improvement
We offer flexible working arrangements, a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and the chance to make a genuine contribution to public service delivery.
If you are motivated by quality, enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, and want to help shape how digital services are delivered and improved, we encourage you to apply.
