A leading boutique commercial law firm based in Sydney is seeking a talented and motivated Solicitor to join its growing Employment & Workplace Relations practice.
This firm is highly regarded for its strategic, partner-led service and its impressive client base, which includes national employers, high-growth startups, and prominent executives. The employment practice advises on a wide range of complex and often high-stakes workplace matters, with an emphasis on pragmatic, commercially sound outcomes .
As a Solicitor within the team, you will support and lead matters across:
* Employment contracts, policies and workplace compliance
* Investigations, disciplinary processes and employee disputes
* General protections and unfair dismissal claims
* Bullying, harassment and discrimination matters
* Workplace health and safety (WHS) issues
* Restraint of trade and post-employment obligations
* Executive appointments and separations
* Industrial relations strategy, enterprise agreements and award interpretation
* Employment litigation in the Fair Work Commission and Federal Courts
This position is ideal for a lawyer with 3–5 years' post-admission experience in employment law or workplace relations, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong drafting, communication and client relationship skills are essential, as is a solutions-oriented mindset.
