The Role
Ashdale SC is seeking an innovative, highly motivated and experienced individual to join our small but dedicated team of Information Technology (IT) specialists.
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the College's network and providing network administration throughout the College. In conjunction with our Network Support Officers, you will ensure the integrity and reliability of the network system and administer risk management and contingency planning systems to support and enhance the learning environment. You will provide advice on technical issues associated with the network administration and will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve hardware, software and network-related issues.
We are seeking an individual who is ideally knowledgeable, adaptable, collaborative, resilient and resourceful with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Your ability to apply conceptual and analytical thought processes and develop innovative solutions will be highly valued, as it's a key factor to your success.
The successful applicants should have a relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline and/or an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience. It would be highly desirable for the applicant to have experience in Windows & Mac environments, WA DOE-specific systems (SIS, Connect, Compass), Cisco-based networking technology and Microsoft Office 365, including OneNote & Teams.
