Your Day-to-Day
Own theend-to-end pre-settlement process : from initial due diligence to final file readiness;
Prepare, verify and manage loan documentation, settlement checklists, and compliance reviews;
Act as the go-to liaison between lawyers, brokers, and internal teams — keeping every deal on track;
Identify gaps or inconsistencies early and ensure every 'i' is dotted and 't' crossed;
Partner with the in-house accountant to confirm numbers and ensure settlement readiness;
Maintain a robust audit trail, keeping every file "clean" and compliant before legal handover.
We'd Love to Hear from You if You Have :
3+ years' experience in a credit analysis, paralegal, or legal assistant role (property or banking/finance a must) ;
Familiarity withcontracts, loan/mortgage documents, and the inner workings of settlements;
A methodical mindset and the ability to handle complex files with minimal supervision;
Excellent communication skills — you're confident dealing with legal teams, brokers, and stakeholders alike ;
A genuine love of structure, checklists, and getting thingsright the first time.
