Job Title: Underground Plant Control Specialist
Job Description
The role of the Underground Plant Control Specialist is to monitor, control and optimize critical underground fixed plant systems including materials handling, hoisting, pumping and ventilation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor all areas of the plant from the central control room.
* Respond to alarms and process changes to maintain efficient plant performance.
* Carry out start-up and shutdown procedures for critical equipment.
* Keep clear, accurate and timely communication with operators, winder drivers and maintenance teams.
* Work closely with plant operators and maintenance teams to resolve faults or downtime.
