Maintenance Officer / Handyperson
The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for performing the day-to-day general maintenance, upkeep and general repairs as required onsite, in a timely and safe manner which complies with ISS, client and building industry specified work standards.
Key tasks include:
* Respond promptly to customer requests for maintenance assistance in order to meet ISS KPIs and to minimise disruption to client operations.
* Complete all general maintenance and relevant repairs to a high standard at all times.
* Maintenance tasks include; minor plumbing, electrical, fixtures and site clean‐up as necessary.
* Carry out site inspections to identify, report and action faults and items for repair.
* Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping an up to date inventory of spare parts and consumables on site.
* Assist with Office Services and using our FMS/CMMS to raise and close off service requests and work orders.

Minimum Criteria
* Previous experience working in a maintenance or handyperson capacity on operational commercial sites.
* Working at heights and on elevated work platforms certification.
* Experience identifying and procuring resources and materials required for maintenance tasks.
* Solid experience in WHS and preparing risk assessments (JSA and SWMS).
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise to meet short deadlines.
* Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and contractors.
* Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite in order to produce reports and proficient use of computer systems.
* Current Class C/Open Driver's License.
* Willing to complete background / probability check (National Police Check, ASIC – financial services).
Additional Advantages
Experience working in the FM or property management industry and/or exposure to asset management and life cycles of equipment, fixtures and fittings, along with the following qualifications will be an advantage: Trade (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc), OH&S Certificate, Manual Handling, Forklift licence.
