The successful candidate will deliver a high level of service providing a reliable maintenance program, in conjunction with repairs and breakdown support.
* Responsibilities:
* Provide a professional level of service in-line with company policies and procedures
* Deliver a high level of service providing a reliable maintenance program, in conjunction with repairs and breakdown support
* Ensure smart working practices are followed to contribute to ensuring and maintaining a smooth running of the daily operations of the company/workshop
* Promote and portray a positive image for the Company
* To be helpful, polite knowledgeable and resourceful
* Provide and maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OHS policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade qualified Diesel or Light Vehicle Mechanic
* Has own reliable transport and tools
* Holds a current driver's license (LR class preferred but not essential)
* Demonstrates well-developed personal communication skills
* Has good record keeping skills
* Possess the ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to prioritise work commitments
* Has the ability to listen and communicate well
* Demonstrates an ability to remain calm under pressure
* Has the ability to assist with apprentice training if required
* Possesses a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety and can show a proven safety record
