Are you an experienced and driven Business Manager looking foryour next challenge in healthcare?

PeelMedical Practice is seeking a forward-thinking and highly motivated PracticeBusiness Manager to join our leadership team and support the continued growthand success of our practice.

Weare a dynamic, patient-focused GP practice committed to delivering safe,efficient, and high-quality care. We are looking for someone with a strongbackground in business and HR management ideally within the NHS or healthcaresector.


Main duties of the job

The Business Manager is responsible forensuring that the practice meets its core contractual and legal requirements,optimising systems and processes to deliver a safe, efficient, and effectiveservice.

The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuringfinancial sustainability, and achieving long-term strategic objectives within awell-managed and supportive working environment.By adopting innovative ways of working, the Business Manager will support theGP Partners and Practice Manager in achieving NHS targets, complying with CQCregulations, and promoting values such as equality, diversity, inclusion,continuous development, and collaborative working.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Management

* Oversee budgeting, financial planning,and reporting.
* Monitor financial performance and ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Manage NHS contracts and funding (e.g. QOF, Enhanced Services, PCN funding).
* Handle procurement and supplier agreement
* Identify and develop additional income streams.
* Operational Efficiency
* Optimise practice operations to improvepatient care and staff productivity.
* Implement and manage digital systems to support practice management.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, NHS policies, and industrystandards.
* Strategic Planning
* Collaborate with GP Partners and PracticeManager on long-term strategic goals.Analyse data and provide insights for informed decision-making.
* Lead service development and patient experience improvement projects.
* Support growth plans in line with PCN and ICS priorities.
* 2. Human Resources Management
* Recruitment and Onboarding
* Design and execute recruitment strategiesto attract high-quality candidates.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
* Ensure an effective and supportive onboarding experience for new staff.
* Employee Relations
* Manage employee relations issuesprofessionally and in line with practice policies.
* Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Compliance and PolicyManagement
* Ensure compliance with employmentlegislation and HR best practices.
* Maintain and regularly update staff policies and procedures.
* Ensure all staff records are accurate, secure, and up to date.


Person Specification


Qualifications

* Proven experience in business Management.
* Strong understanding of financial planning.
* Strong understanding of operational improvement.
* Proven experience in HR management,
* Strong understanding of HR legislation.
* Excellent interpersonal Skills.
* Excellent leadership Skills.
