We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer who is passionate about building robust, scalable infrastructure and who takes pride in delivering the foundations that truly matter. We are on a dedicated path to Kubernetes and need a sharp, hands‐on engineer to help drive our deployment philosophy and modernize our entire stack. If you are motivated by technical impact and ready to take on the deep work of cluster maintenance and pipeline automation within a forward‐thinking team, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
What you'll be doing:
* Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation and Helm to ensure our platform is robust and scalable.
* Collaborate with the Service Engineering and SRE teams to design and implement new Kubernetes capabilities and modernization features.
* Deliver intuitive automation solutions to complex infrastructure challenges to ensure a seamless deployment experience for the entire organization.
* Integrate modern security protocols and cloud-native tools to enhance the safety and compliance of our SaaS platform.
* Mentor and support junior team members by sharing expertise in container orchestration and modern DevOps practices.
* Build a deep, hands‐on understanding of our product architecture to become an expert in cluster maintenance and systems design.
* Apply best practices in software quality and test automation to ensure high performance and reliability during cluster upgrades and provisioning.
* A genuine passion for infrastructure modernization and cloud-native ways of working, with the curiosity to solve complex platform challenges.
* A focus on writing clean, high-quality infrastructure as code and continuously improving the reliability of our deployment stack.
* Extensive hands‐on experience with AWS, including a deep understanding of its core services and architectural patterns, with Azure experience considered a significant bonus.
* Solid hands‐on experience using both Terraform and CloudFormation to build and manage production environments, along with experience of Helm charts for Kubernetes orchestration.
* 5+ years of proven experience working in platform engineering, DevOps, or a closely related technical field.
* A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* The ability to thrive working both independently on technical deep‐dives and collaboratively within the Service Engineering team.
* Confidence using tools like Git, JIRA, Confluence, and modern CI/CD platforms to manage and document the infrastructure lifecycle.
