Description
DESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services in Australia. If the successful candidate is CONUS, relocation to the customer site may be approximately 4 months after completing Government Customer requirements. Relocation assistance is provided if needed as well as housing stipend, cost of living, and other allowances for the duration of the tour. The successful candidate will:
Provide technical leadership for the integration of mission systemsOversee system engineering and technical execution of projects that cover hardware/software system development, test and final integration on customer platformsConduct technical reviews and assessments of program development and readiness activities. Coordinates recommendations with government stakeholders and supports program status reviews.Identify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependenciesDevelop assessments and recommendations, present to a variety of audiences Effectively communicate and collaborate with engineers from various contractors and government organizations

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be a US Citizen Active TS/SCI clearance with current CI polygraph Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) field required (contractual requirement) and nine (9) years or more relevant experience; master's and seven (7) years or more experience.Demonstrated success performing project management and systems engineering tasksKnowledge of SIGINT space and ground architecture including mission control and/or mission processing functionsProgram lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations and maintenance and decommission- familiar with related control gates and associated documentationExperience with CONOPS and requirements development, systems analysis, interface control documentation, technical specification review, validation and verificationsMust be a self-starter able to proactively address customer requirements with no supervision and be expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topicsMust be a polished communicator (written/verbal) with impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgmentMust be a master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builderProficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project

Knowledge of satellite constellations, spacecraft orbit, tasking process, and ground station characteristicsFamiliar with MBSE/Digital Engineering, AGILE development, cloud technologies
