Psychosocial Recovery Coach
We seek a dedicated and compassionate Psychosocial Recovery Coach offering psychosocial recovery coaching for those in our community who require assistance navigating services and supports approved by their NDIS plan.
Working with participants to manage and adapt to the complex challenges of mental health.
Using a personal recovery approach embedded within a choice and control framework to engage with participants about their psychosocial support services.
Assist clients in developing coping strategies and skills to manage daily challenges.
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals in their psychosocial recovery journey.
Collaborate with clients to identify their strengths, goals, and aspirations.
Progress reporting and case notes experience
Qualifications and experience:
Demonstrate at least 12 months of experience in either Recovery Coaching or Peer Support.
Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or Diploma in Mental Health and community services along with experience working with complex Mental Health needs is essential.
Experience coordinating a broad range of community service programs.
Proven experience in supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
Robust understanding of psychosocial recovery principles and approaches.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
