Located on the Mornington Peninsula, we are expanding rapidly and are looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our passionate team.
The Role:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both our guests and team members. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage reservations, floor plans, and guest seating to maximize efficiency.
- Assist with staff scheduling and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
- Support the management team with inventory, stock ordering, and supplier communication.
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, café, or bar.
- Passion for hospitality with a strong customer service focus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of Spanish cuisine and wines is an advantage but not essential.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
