**About the role**

A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic **Hospitality Lecturer** to join our passionate academic team. In this role, you will be teaching **research methods and/or business ethics** within our postgraduate program.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

- Focus on continual quality improvement by reviewing & updating teaching/learning materials/resources and assessments
- Foster student learning by using a variety of pedagogical/andragogical techniques
- Undertake academic administration, including peer review activities, assessment moderation, faculty meetings and engaging in college activities.
- Actively engage in development activities for teaching and discipline knowledge and skills.

**This is a casual role based at our campus in the heart of Adelaide.**

**About you**:
You can deliver teaching and learning outcomes to students of varying abilities and experiences. In addition to specific discipline expertise, industry experience or connection would be advantageous.

Your understanding of technology-enhanced teaching approaches to lead continuous quality improvement is imperative to this role. Committing to ethical practice principles within our diverse culture is a high expectation in joining our team.

Your continuous professional development is encouraged and supported to ensure you deliver to the high standard that ICHM demands, to produce highly professional industry graduates. Additional requirements include:

- Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualifications (Doctorate).
- Ability to supervisor students on Work Integrated Learning Placement
- An understanding of and connection to industry and the benefits of industry-based learning
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining links with external education, professional and industry groups
- Able to build and maintain industry networks
- Current child-related work certificate (DCSI) or ability to obtain.
