Part-Time Lunch-Cover Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III
About the role
* Commencing Term 2, 2026
Are you passionate about supporting young children to learn, grow, and thrive? We are seeking a caring and dedicated Certificate III Early Childhood Educator to join our Hollins Children Centre Sessional Kindergarten team and play a meaningful role in shaping the early learning journeys of our youngest learners.
This is a part-time lunch cover position, working 3 days per week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00am – 2:00pm, ideal for someone seeking family-friendly hours while making a positive impact.
Hollins Children Centre offers high-quality funded three and four-year-old Kindergarten programs. The service is conveniently located in Pakenham, in a purpose-built centre.
What you will be doing:
* Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children
* Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play
* Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security
* Work collaboratively with educators and leaders to uphold Cire’s standards of excellence and inclusion

About You
You are someone who:
* Is passionate about early childhood education and creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments
* Has experience designing and delivering play-based learning programs
* Comfortable working within the National Quality and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks
* Is compassionate, caring, and committed to making a positive difference for children and families
* Be an engaging and effective communicator (with children and families)
* Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Essential Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
* Be eligible to work in Australia
* Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Have a current Working with Children Check
