Overview
Plant Operator – Grader/Team Leader (Permanent) – Griffith City Council. The role is to operate a grader and lead a small crew while conducting road construction and maintenance operations in a safe, economical and proficient manner. It also includes managing and maintaining team vehicles and plant equipment and developing operational skills of team members.
Responsibilities
* Operate a grader and lead a small crew on council road construction and maintenance projects.
* Manage and maintain team transport and associated plant to manufacturers' specifications.
* Develop and promote the operational skills of team members.
* Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards.
Qualifications
* Current Australian HR truck licence.
* General Construction Induction training card (White Card).
* Ability to operate and maintain a Grader and related plant; manage team transport and other plant to manufacturers' specifications.

Hours and Conditions
Hours of work: 38 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Annual salary range $69,735.12 to $76,703.12 (Grade 9), Plus Superannuation and Rostered Day Off once a fortnight.
