**About Our Client**:
Our client specialises in managing and recycling construction and demolition waste.
They operate a crushing plant which processes concrete, brick and asphalt to make a range of recycled products. In addition to this, they also sort and recycle construction and demolition waste using fixed sorting plant.
On site they have a large range of equipment including front end loaders, 30 ton excavators, trucks, a dump truck and there are also a range of mobile crushing and screening equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a maintenance team with a robust focus for safety, attention to detail and cooperation.
- Ensuring production targets are met and looking for ways to continuously improve the operation of the plant.
- Providing a strong preventative maintenance culture throughout all areas of the company operations.
- Tending to breakdowns in a prompt and effective manner.
- Tracking of expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- High quality record keeping
- Responsible for the implementation of HSEQ standard within the workshop area
Daily Tasks include
- Lead the workshop team.
- Prioritise, plan & manage all repairs/breakdowns and installation activities
- Prioritise, organise & manage servicing of all plant and equipment
- Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics
- Forecasting, ordering parts and consumables, and price negotiations for spare parts
- Coordinate work performed by outside vendors and subcontractors
- Daily Toolbox talk
- Working closely with admin to ensure documentation in relation to purchasing is completed in accordance with company procedures, including invoice approvals
- Working closely with the leading hands of both the sorting and crushing plant to ensure effective maintenance is being performed.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure effective prioritising and planning of tasks.

**What's on Offer**:
