Salary: AUD32.04 - AUD32.04 per hour + penalty rates
The Role
We’re seeking experienced Tree Nut Machinery Operator to join a busy almond orchard in Lake Powell, Victoria. This is a hands-on, physical role working outdoors with a variety of machinery to support the harvest season. You’ll be part of a hardworking team focused on safety and efficiency during this peak period.
Key Responsibilities
Operating almond harvest machinery, including sweepers, bankouts, and tractors
Assisting with machinery setup, operation, and maintenance checks
Carrying out general orchard and harvest tasks as directed
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
Benefits
$32.04 per hour with penalty rates
Approx. 6 weeks of seasonal work
Approx. 60 hours per week providing plenty of overtime
Gain valuable experience in large-scale orchard operations
Work alongside an experienced and supportive harvest crew
Your Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a positive, team-focused attitude along with practical farming or machinery experience. You will have:
Previous experience in an agricultural environment
Machinery operation experience (tractors, sweepers, or similar)
Good level of physical fitness for hands-on, outdoor work
Reliability, punctuality, and a robust work ethic
