About the role Due to continued growth and a busy **** ahead, Contract Resources (CR) is seeking qualified and skilled Advanced Scaffolders to join our team in Lytton, QLD for a major Turnaround in ****.
Advanced Scaffolders play a vital role in ensuring scaffold structures are erected, maintained, and dismantled safely and efficiently prior to and during one of the biggest Turnarounds in the past decade.
In this role, you will work with and alongside various teams to ensure operations run safely, smoothly, and to a high standard.
To be successful, you will need to be local to Lytton, QLD (within a 50km radius), hold a current High Risk Work Licence in Advanced Scaffolding, bring proven experience in refinery environments, demonstrate strong shutdown exposure, and be able to multitask effectively while maintaining a safety-first mindset at all times.
Duties will include but not limited to Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures as per design specifications Conduct detailed risk assessments and maintain a strong focus on safety Inspect scaffolding equipment for damage or defects, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards Support other Industrial Services teams when Scaffolding work is limited Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the Tube Clip Scaffolding System Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and site protocols Requirements Experience Needed 2+ years of experience in scaffolding 1–2 years of experience working within the Oil Gas or related industry 1–2 years of experience working on shutdowns in a refinery or similar setting Ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts as required Ability to obtain an Australian National Police Clearance High Risk Work Licence – Advanced Scaffolding (essential) Current VOC – Advanced Scaffolding (essential) Working Safely at Heights certificate (within 2 years – essential) Enter Work in a Confined Space certificate (within 2 years – essential) White Card (essential) Gas Test Atmosphere certificates (within 2 years – desirable) Current Driver's Licence Full Australian work rights How to apply If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role with a dynamic, growing organisation, please select the 'Apply Now' button to submit your application.
