The Role
We have an opportunity for a Business Services Accountant to join our well-established team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll provide outstanding service to a wide and diverse client base who will come to trust and value you as an integral business advisor.
The responsibilities of the role include:
* Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
* Preparation of BAS/IAS
* Preparation of budgets and cashflows
* Email support to clients
* Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
To be successful in this role you will have:
* 2+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice
* A degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting
* CA/CPA or desire to commence
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* Results driven, with ability to plan and coordinate workload to meet (and exceed) deadlines and targets
* Commitment to championing a progressive, innovative, and positive work environment
* Ability to present solutions not problems
* Desire to continuously improve your technical knowledge and ability
* Experience in Xero would be highly desirable
