About the Role
The Anglicare Staying on Track program aims to improve community safety and reduce reoffending by providing support to young people transitioning from detention to the community.
As a Coordinator, Youth Justice, you will lead a team of Practitioners and Mentors in delivering best-practice, client-focused services. You will oversee referrals, allocate staff, and provide guidance on implementing support plans.
Responsibilities
* Lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
* Manage team operations, including supervision, recruitment, induction, and rostering.
* Oversee referrals from Youth Justice and allocate staff based on young people's needs.
* Provide expert guidance on implementing support plans and matching Mentors with clients.
* Promote a culturally safe, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
* Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and contractual standards.
* Monitor and manage program brokerage funds for effective resource allocation.
* Coordinate case planning and review meetings with stakeholders.
* Provide direct client support as required, ensuring practice aligns with professional registration and compliance obligations.
Requirements
* Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Behavioural Science, or Psychology (Essential)
* Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Current National Police Check
* Queensland Driver Licence
* Willingness and ability to travel within the service region
* Flexibility to work varying hours, including on-call support
