The Role 
Applicants should have a thorough understanding of the WA Arts curriculum to plan, teach, and assess an engaging, innovative Visual Arts program across Year 2 – Year 6.
You should display an ability to teach skills and techniques in a variety of media: ceramics, painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, textiles, and digital art. You should also use assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs, set targets, and inform your planning in Visual Arts for students across the school.
The successful applicant should have a strong background in organising and coordinating Visual Arts school exhibitions. Forming strong links with community groups and engaging with external artists is integral to this role in developing the school’s Arts program.
