**The Client**:
Our client for this position is a growing financial services organisation currently undertaking multiple large-scale technical projects. They currently have a requirement for a Program Test Manager to develop and lead a comprehensive multi-program-level test approach and strategy resulting in cohesive test schedules, plans and test execution. Initially offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract the role has a strong likelihood of further extensions and conversion into becoming a permanent member of the organisation.
**The Role**:
As the Program Test Manager, you will be responsible for enabling testing through the provisioning of test environments, testing tools, testing procedures and the effective use of resources in a fit for purpose approach as well as provide program level support and coverage for governance, change management and release activities for numerous programs in the organisation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Implement a program-level test strategy ensuring a cohesive approach to testing across multiple projects within the Smart Income and Fund Administration programs.
- Facilitate, coordinate and support the effective execution of testing cycles including functional, system, integration, UAT and PVT.
- Act as a key escalation point for testing related program/project issues, managing them effectively with relevant SMEs, delivery leads and project managers as required.
- Perform effective test scheduling across the program(s), with due consideration of project delivery plans, resourcing, use of testing cycles and mitigating regression risk.
- Manage the monitoring and reporting of project testing related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
- Identify, promote, improve and embed the use of appropriate testing techniques, methodologies and tools, including risk, issue and defect management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Develop and embed an improved test capability across automation, test tools, cross-skilling of test resources, environment management/availability.
- Oversee and participate in the construction of Test Plans, ensuring risks associated with changes are clearly identified, mapped and covered off in the scope of testing.
- In collaboration with the UAT Testers, over-see the compilation of test scripts with projects and SMEs.
- Successfully coordinate test scrums as needed and provide test reporting of progress and defect updates for key stakeholders.
- In coordination with relevant stakeholders, ensure the availability and coordination of the UAT environments.
- Identifying any change, test & release management risks/resistance and coordinate required mitigation.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with wider business testers, identifying any areas of impact outside the program.

**Required Skills & Specialisms**:
- Extensive experience as a Test Manager across the full testing lifecycle with a minimum 5 years' experience leading testing in large organisations with multifaceted systems.
- Testing experience in a complex Superannuation or Financial Services environment.
- Experience creating and managing test plans in Azure DevOps.
- Experience with MS Office suite such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
- Experience with Acurity, Sitecore, MS Dynamics 3365, SharePoint desirable.
- Familiarity with iterative or agile development processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels.
- An ability to liaise and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
