This is a fantastic opportunity for a tester with 2-5 years' experience that wants to further develop their testing skills.

OMC International provides consulting services and software systems to the international maritime industry. We are a fast-growing company with a workforce consisting of Maritime Engineers, Naval Architects and Software Engineers, delivering innovative and cutting-edge technology to ports, shipping companies, mariners, and government authorities in Australasia, Europe, North and South America and the Middle East.
About the Role:
We are rapidly growing and now require an additional Test Resource, working alongside a small and supportive team of software engineers and testers. You will participate in the planning and execution of testing for a range of OMC products by:
* Analysing and clarifying Software Requirements and Designs
* Designing Test Scenarios and Test Data (System and SIT)
* Executing testing for complex, highly integrated Applications
* Working collaboratively in a cross functional team
About you:
* Based in Melbourne
* 3rd level qualification in IT, Engineering or Science
* 2-5 years recent software testing experience
* A passion for testing. You see your long-term career within the testing space
* Ability to work in a complex environment, think creatively and problem solve
* Excellent analytical & communication skills
Desirable Attributes (Nice to have but not essential)
* Knowledge of REST APIs
* Test Automation skills (API and/or GUI)
* Testing experience at a Product based organisation
This is an initial 6-month fixed term opportunity.
