Perth Home GP is Perth's first fully accredited mobile GP practice, delivering comprehensive GP care to patients in their homes across Perth, Rockingham and Mandurah. We operate in-hours and after-hours, seven days a week, providing home visits and telehealth to patients who are unable to access a traditional GP clinic. Our team includes 15 experienced GP Fellows, working within a supportive and well-established practice that is highly trusted by patients and families — reflected in our 4.9-star Google rating.
About the Role
Part-Time Receptionist:
* 100% work-from-home
* 2 days a week 7:00am–3:00pm
* Recruiting for 2 positions to cover Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Key responsibilities include:
* Booking patients for home visit and telehealth appointments
* Promoting services to patients and carers enquiring over the phone
* Onboarding of patients for regular care
* Shift management – supporting on-the-road GP/assistant and telehealth GP teams for the smooth operation of shifts
* Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence (e.g. investigation results, referrals)
* Private payment processing and Medicare/DVA claiming
* Liaising with the patient\'s health care team and other health care services
About You
Applicants ideally should have:
* Experience working in a medical receptionist role (preferred)
* Experience working as a receptionist in a General Practice (preferred)
Applicants must:
* Be enthusiastic, reliable and personable with excellent communication skills
* Have a high degree of competency with technology (tablets, smartphones, laptops etc)
* Be highly organised and able to multitask
* Have critical attention to detail
* Be a team player who can work collaboratively within a fast-paced clinical environment
* Have a pleasant telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly
* Be able to adapt to change quickly
Shifts and Availability
We are recruiting 2 receptionists to work 2 days each 7.00am-3.00pm to cover shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week. Please let us know in a cover letter when applying which of the 4 days you are available to work.
