A leadership opportunity has opened within a large corporate finance function for an experienced Manager, Shared Services. This role is accountable for overseeing the delivery of transactional finance operations while driving efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement.
You will manage a team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, vendor master data, expense management and travel platform oversight. Your focus will extend beyond the numbers; you will engage with stakeholders across the business, manage service expectations through clear SLAs, and use dashboards and reporting to track progress. By partnering closely with colleagues across the business, you will identify opportunities for automation and smarter workflows that improve efficiency and reduce risk.
A key part of the role will be contributing to the implementation of a current ERP and CRM platform, and success will come from ensuring services are delivered to agreed standards, implementing controls that protect company assets and foster strong relationships across the business.
To be considered you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce / finance / business or related field
- 7+ years’ experience in finance shared service operations and process improvement within a large, complex business
- Demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams
- Exposure to financial reporting systems (SAP or similar) and advanced Excel
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
