This is an estimated 7-week temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.Working within the Custodial Corrections business unit, you will be required to provide a wide range of correctional administrative support services to facilitate the delivery and performance of the Correctional Centre. This role involves financial administrative duties including handling inmates internal accounts and files.As a representative for Correctional facility, please note that this role includes minimal inmate interactionResponsibilitiesAct as first point of contact, including reception and switchboard dutiesDeliver high level professional customer serviceAnswering enquiries, providing accurate and timely responsesEscalate complex issues to senior team members, when requiredCreate and process visitor bookingsManage, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mailUpdate and allocate phone numbers in a bespoke systemGenerate routine correspondence ensuring concise and information if providedGather and collate information, generating report and making recommendations to support informed decision-making outcomesProvide a wide range of correctional administrative support functions to the team including preparation of files, sentence administration, inmate classification / case management, documentation and reportsManage and maintain inmate accounts including processing of payments and cash handlingEstablish and maintain key stakeholder relationships, facilitating collaboration, partnerships and contribution of idea’sManage and maintain office equipment and stationeryRecords and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy, and confidentialityContribute to continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouImpeccable communication skills, both verbal and writtenProfessional, resilient and a great work ethicStrong computer literacy skills and proficiency especially with MS Office suite, OIMS and TRIMSuperior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlinesHigh attention to detailRequirementsDemonstrated Administration or Business Support experiencePrevious experience working within a complex and sensitive environmentFlexibility to work 8am-4pm Monday to Friday onsiteWillingness to undergo a National Police CheckAbility to commence and commit to the duration of the assignmentHow to ApplyApplications will be reviewed within 48 hours of the job posting.
